u got 88AKQ, opponent got 88AK9, so u got better last ass kicker

I thought only highest kicker is counted, and at least telesina odds calculator thinks also that way.

Also this site says that only top kicker counts, if both have same top kicker, then kickers colour determines winner.

no, when both haves same hand example 99KJQ and 99KJQ, then kickers suit says, but if you have 99AKJ and opponent haves 99AQJ, then kicker says.

Telesina kicker rules are a bit confusing. -P@ISTI- is right about how it works at B2B (or whatever the poker network is called).

I changed the calculator to work the same as B2B. Earlier it worked as described in the link simosa gave.

At B2B:

Quote :

If two players have the same kind of pair, their remaining three cards are significant and the player with the highest side card (kicker) wins. If the highest cards of both players are equal the second highest card wins and so on. If all three cards are equal the suit of the highest kicker decides the winner.

The updated calculator now knows also this important rule:

Quote :

There is one special rule: if it’s only two players left in the pot the highest Straight Flush (A, K, Q, J, T in Hearts) is beaten by the lowest Straight Flush (T, 9, 8, 7, A in Spades).
